Amanda Thompson - A Soul Who Touched So Many
If you had ever met Amanda Thompson, you knew instantly how kind and giving she was. Always first to volunteer, Amanda dove into anything she did all the way – which was why people always loved her. That’s also why, when she was diagnosed with CIC-DUX4 Sarcoma in early December 2022, people from all over asked how they could help her. Helping was something Amanda was great at doing, but like many, bad at asking. So after much prodding from friends and neighbors, this page was set up so she could communicate her needs, receive all of the love that people want to send, and update everyone on how her fight was going.
Unfortunately, her fight against CIC-DUX4 Sarcoma ended on Mother’s Day, May 14th, 2023. She fought hard, but this cancer spreads so fast. She left behind a legacy more than what she would have ever expected, as her main goal in life was to raise to normal, happy and beautiful children.
