This is the last situation we want to be in, but here we are. Unfortunately, on Monday the 24th we received very bad news from the CT scans of Amanda’s chest area. The cancer has spread all over and they canceled her surgery. We are running out of options, but are hoping for a Hail Mary from MD Anderson, as Amanda states in her post on Facebook:
“Oh my sweet loving warriors! I wish I had better news to share. The cancer has spread. My surgery was canceled. I need a whole body treatment. I am hopefully going to MD Anderson on May 10 to discuss alternative treatments, clinical trials, etc. I am hoping they can give me a game plan to buy me as much time as possible. Please pray my journey on this Earth is not over. Please pray for the kids to have peace. They know I might not survive. It’s the most cruel and heartbreaking situation I could ever imagine. And please pray for Matt. He’s such a good caregiver, researcher, and advocate. He needs a community behind him. I love you all!”

From things like going on a strict Keto diet, to more hyperbaric treatments, more Vitamin C IVs, chelation therapy, and others, it all adds up to so much out of pocket money being spent.
